A very special mutual friend from USA thought we should meet and how right she was.
The three of us would often be in Paris where our friend has a beautiful apartment. Helping her source Antiques and giving Interior Design guidance, we realised this was the perfect complimentary partnership and we could help so many more people whilst having fun, and our adventure La Source began.

Bonjour,
I was born and raised in a family of antique dealers in France.
In the 80s, I left France for the United States.
I first worked with the famous New York gallery owner Jacques KAPLAN then I collaborated for several years with American decorators and antique dealers.
Back in France, I joined the family team at Bachelier Antiquités at the Marché Paul Bert aux Puces de Paris, a truly internationally recognized institution, specializing in French kitchen furniture and wine objects, founded by my mother and my brother.
Then, in 2009, I opened my first store at Marché PAUL BERT in Paris, followed two years later by a second to offer my selection of mid-century design focusing on the 1950s, 60s and 70s.
Eager to get even closer to local customers, in 2020 I opened a new store in Vincennes Paris to convey and share this passion for beautiful objects and their stories.
At the same time, I developed a consultancy and support service for an international clientele wishing to find antique objects in France and Europe that meet their individual needs.
I started this activity for RALPH LAUREN for the opening of their first boutique in Paris, Place de la Madeleine.
Since then, my activity as a Personal Antique Shopper has grown and I organize, throughout the world specific research, specialized tailor-made tours or sourcing missions for private and professional clients (architects, decorators, designers, etc.).
With my partners, I take care of all the logistics for the transport of the purchased goods, regardless of the continent.
My work allows me to be on the ground, to travel and source antiques all over France, Belgium and Spain and Italy.
I love to share my passion for beautiful quality things and my secret hunting places.
To share my bargain hunting techniques and teach how to shop for the best quality items whilst enjoying the local culture.

Hi,
I am an English Interior Designer, lover of Antiques, Textiles and a romantic Francophile based in West Sussex UK often to be found in France.
My love affair with France started as a child while spending most summers in the South and longing time there to last forever. Fortunately, throughout my long career France and particularly Paris has been an important regular destination and inspiration where I was always enriched by its magnificent architecture, vibrant cultural energy and abundance of galleries, boutiques and specialists in Design and Décor, not to forget the fabulous food and joie de vivre!
My working career has always been in the creative field, originally with Textiles and then Interior Design. During the 90s I was a Buying Director at Liberty the iconic and avant-garde London Department store and latterly as ‘The Creative Head’ of Residential Interiors at a large London Interior Design Studio. My work has taken me all over the World, working with the finest makers and artisans, designing, specifying, sourcing, and negotiating; working on the most amazing projects from Palaces to Boutique Hotels and substantial luxury homes. This is where I honed my skills, whilst leading talented teams of Designers, administrators, and logistics magicians.
I have always loved the thrill of helping others create something lasting and special, from an initial idea and vision to sourcing exquisite items and making it all come together.
